On 1 February 2023 Chiara Del Prete has been appointed EFRAG Sustainability Reporting TEG (EFRAG SR TEG) Chair. She was already serving this role since May 2022 as Acting Chair. Her role is to lead and manage all EFRAG’s sustainability reporting technical activities.

Chiara has also been appointed as chair of the International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters in January 2022 for an initial term of two years.

Chiara joined the EFRAG management team as EFRAG FR TEG Chairwoman in April 2019, position that she covered until the end of January 2023.

From October 2016 to March 2019, Chiara was a partner at Mazars, advising financial institutions, banking authorities and listed entities on IFRS and broader corporate reporting, banking regulation, valuation and restructuring. During this period, she was also member of Mazars Global IFRS Committee.

From October 2011 to September 2016 Chiara was Head of accounting principles at UniCredit Group and in charge of the external reporting disclosure for the consolidated and separated financial statements of the group. Then, she was also member of IFRS 9 technical groups of the European Banking Federation (EBF) and of the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and of the Three-Way Dialogue and Senior Accounting Group of the Institute of International Finance (IIF).

Chiara started her career as financial statements auditor and consultant in 2000 and worked for KPMG Italy and PwC Italy. She has been member of ESMA Corporate Reporting Standing Committee from 2017 to 2019.

Clara Arpa is President of UN Global Compact Spain, where she leads efforts to promote corporate sustainability and align business strategies with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A passionate advocate for responsible leadership, she works to advance sustainable development both in Spain and internationally.

She is also CEO of ARPA Equipos Móviles de Campaña, a global provider of deployable solutions for defense, healthcare, and emergency response. Jenny Bofinger-Schuster was appointed as a full-time member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in August 2022, effective 1 December 2022.

Prior to joining the ISSB, Ms Bofinger-Schuster served as Senior Vice President for sustainability and operational excellence at Siemens. In this role she was responsible for developing the company’s sustainability strategy and for implementing new disclosure requirements.

Prior to this she held senior positions at Siemens Management Consulting and Horváth & Partners Management Consultants.

Ms Bofinger-Schuster holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg and an MBA from the University of Dayton, Ohio

José Luis is the Global Sustainability Director at ACCIONA. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Instituto de Empresa. With over two decades of experience, he has excelled in managing, developing, and independently reviewing corporate responsibilities.

In 2019, José Luis joined ACCIONA, assuming the role of Global Sustainability Director. Additionally, he is a member of the Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance, representing the European Commission.

Kyriakos Exadaktylos leads Energy Performance at Vodafone Group based in Madrid. In the last 20 years, he has served in various Group Technology roles and committees and has driven several mobile network award-winning innovations and new architectures into global scale deployment improving customer experience, reducing energy consumption or delivering innovative products and services to customers. 

In the most recent times, he is passioned to drive Vodafone Climate Transition Plan through innovative energy efficiency initiatives including new digital, AI , GenAI based solutions, disruptive storage solutions and new architectures such as Open RAN and more. He is IET Chartered Engineer and chair of the Open RAN European MoU Policy & Ecosystem Taskforce. Michael has more than 7 years’ experience working on carbon market policies. This includes developing market analysis on the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS); and holding several roles in the UK Government, including taking part in international negotiations on carbon pricing; policy development work to establish the UK ETS; and implementation of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) in UK legislation.

Elena Arveras is the member of Cabinet Albuquerque responsible for Sustainable Finance portfolio since December 2024. Previously she worked at DG FISMA at the European Commission since the publication of the Commission’s Action Plan on Sustainable Finance in 2018. Her field of expertise has been sustainability reporting, working in different policymaking initiatives such as the revision of the Non-financial Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. She was also responsible for the SFDR implementation and review since mid 2022. She started her career in the banking and consumer goods industry in Germany, working in management controlling and treasury. She studied Law and Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid), including abroad studies in Georg August University Gottingen and WU Wien.

Aleksandra Palinska is the Executive Director of Eurosif, the European Sustainable Investment Forum, a Brussels-based association advocating for a more sustainable financial system.

She is a seasoned professional with fifteen years of experience in EU public policy and regulation. Her expertise covers sustainable finance, financial market regulation, company law and corporate governance. Since 2019 her focus has been on driving sustainability through financial markets.

Prior to joining Eurosif, she worked for various Brussels-based organisations including Finance Watch – a Brussels-based NGO and expertise centre with a mission to make finance serve society – EFAMA, EuropeanIssuers and BetterFinance, which represent the interests of asset managers, publicly-listed companies and individual investors, respectively.

Ángel is currently the SVP of Product and a Member of the Board at Clarity AI. He joined the company in 2017, when it was founded, as the Head of Research. Clarity AI, which is headquartered in New York, has since grown to more than 200 employees and has received funding from SoftBank, BlackRock and Deutsche Börse, in addition to other leading venture capital firms. Clarity AI has won several industry awards including special recognition from the World Economic Forum in 2020 as a Tech Pioneer.

Prior to his current role at Clarity AI, Ángel helped develop disruptive methodologies for impact measurement, including the first quantitative methodology – to measure the impact of companies – as aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) framework.  

Before joining the corporate world, Ángel worked in academia. For more than 10 years, he was active in research, contributing to dozens of conferences, books and publications and serving as a visiting fellow at the Harvard University Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment. He also served as the youngest professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). He received a degree in Telecommunication Engineering and Business Administration, MSc in Innovation Management, and PhD in Economics from UPM. Jan Herrmann advises national and international companies in financial regulatory law.

His areas of expertise include the structuring of alternative investments such as closed-end alternative investment funds (AIF), with a focus on ESG-related AIFs. Further, he advises on profit participation rights and other alternative investments.

Jan supports clients in financial regulatory law, e.g. in BaFin proceedings. He has also been the founder and CEO of several non-profit organisations in the fields of human rights and development.

In April 2023, he joined the management team at the Green Finance Institute, with the aim of leading the organisation's entry into the Spanish financial system, where in two years he has positioned it as a benchmark in the promotion of private green financing and a key player in the most important current forums such as the Sustainable Finance Council, ARCE 2050, Urban Agenda, Madrid Sueña, Cities 2030, to name but a few.

He has been awarded the Sustainability Action Award and is a regular contributor to the media, as well as a panellist and speaker on sustainable finance issues at Spanish and international forums.

Brunet has a degree in Law, a Master's degree in Energy Law and has completed several programmes for senior executives in global business, management, leadership and public affairs at prestigious universities such as Oxford Said Business School, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, IESE and Instituto de Empresa

In 2010, in his hometown of Florence, Italy, Federico Garcea founded Treedom, the leading tree-planting platform that allows individuals and businesses to plant trees remotely and track their environmental and social impact online.

A social entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in environmental issues and climate change, Garcea was initially inspired by the popular online game Farmville, where users plant and care for virtual crops. He, however, wanted to take that idea into the real world, by planting actual trees. Fifteen years later, Treedom has evolved into a global platform dedicated to absorbing carbon emissions and supporting tree-planting projects in rural communities worldwide.

Treedom stands out as a best, practice agroforestry organization, with deep expertise in selecting the right tree species for the right locations to achieve optimal results. It aims to create an alliance between local farmers and supporters, thus turning reforestation into a sustainable, long-term source of income for smallholder farmers. By helping communities bridge the gap between planting a seed and growing a productive tree, Treedom empowers local communities to start new agricultural enterprises to thrive. To date, the organization has planted over four million trees around the world.

Garcea holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Cesare Alfieri. His early career was marked by a range of cultural and professional experiences across Europe, working in Italy, Spain, and Denmark. At just 25, he left a corporate banking role to join a rural development project in Africa, an experience that ignited his passion for combating deforestation and climate change.

Inspired by a particular sustainable development project in Cameroon, Africa, Federico witnessed firsthand the local economic, environmental, and social disadvantages brought on by deforestation that affected the community. Federico was driven to make an impactful difference not only to the environment, but also to the families living there. It was here that he was first inspired to start Treedom and soon developed an online platform where anyone could plant trees remotely, no matter where they were in the world.

Ibo Sanz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Rotterdam Business School. Additionally, he has a certification from the University of Helsinki in AI Elements. He brings to LLYC over 20 years of professional experience, with a long career as a business developer in the telecommunications sector for large multinational companies. During his 8 years at Telefónica, he drove the group’s content proposal and participated in the transition of the business model from voice to data. In his 11 years at Vodafone, he led the integration of technology solutions and platforms in m-commerce services aimed at their customer base. He also had a significant tenure at the consultancy firm Gartner, where he worked on analyzing the impact of technological disruption on the bottom line of numerous companies.

He is currently the General Director of LLYC Venturing. In this role, he brings the consultancy’s investment vehicle in startups closer to business and leads the team in seeking opportunities, analysis, due diligence, and investment in projects that promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. Ibo was already a member of the LLYC Venturing Investment Committee and combines this position with being the Head of Deep Digital Strategy for the firm in Europe.

Ibo has extensive experience in M&A and investment operations. He joined LLYC in January 2021 after holding executive positions as a business developer in multinationals such as Telefónica and Vodafone.

Head of Sector Transformation at UNE, the Spanish Association of Standardization, supports sectors in the achievement of their strategic sector objectives through the development and application of standards.

He holds a degree in chemistry with honors, with subsequent dedication to research, before moving for some years into the pharmaceutical industry, where he held various positions.

With extensive knowledge of standardization activities at the national, European, and international levels, he works closely with experts from different sectors in the development of standards. As part of the Research and Innovation unit at UNE, he also contributed to the preparation of proposals for innovation European innovation framework programs.

He currently holds the Secretariat of several UNE technical committees in the field of environmental sustainability, covering areas such as circular economy, biodiversity or decarbonization.

A logistician by nature, my transition to circularity was a natural evolution: the only way to tackle the inefficiencies that had always obsessed me—like obsolescence and returns. What wasn’t so natural was leaving the security of a multinational to co-found SURUS with my partner and friend Gonzalo. Fifteen years later, that obsession has grown into giving a second life to everything from simple pallets to aircraft carriers and power plants. And when I look at the 25,855,936.44 kg of CO₂ we’ve avoided through reuse, I know every day since that leap has been worth it.

Martina Costantino leads Strategic Partnerships at XNatura, the 3Bee division focused on biodiversity, nature, and climate monitoring. Holding a Master’s degree in Strategies Against Climate Change from Cambridge, she specializes in designing science-based solutions for environmental resilience.

Martina is a frequent speaker at international events, having shared her expertise on biodiversity conservation at the World Living Soils Forum and Smart City Expo 2024 in Barcelona, where she emphasized the importance of prioritizing biodiversity in urban environments.

Her passion for nature is rooted in hands-on experience, including 10 months in the Maldives, where she contributed to coral restoration projects and deepened her commitment to preserving marine ecosystems. Martina has also played a role in shaping international biodiversity policies, notably addressing the impact of renewable energy on biodiversity at the Spanish Chamber of Deputies.

With a blend of technical expertise and a deep passion for nature, Martina is committed to advancing a more resilient and biodiverse future through science, technology, and advocacy.

Leonardo von Prellwitz (MBA - University of Chicago, BA - Bocconi University) is a founder, operator, investor and sustainability aficionado. Before leading Re4Real's business affairs his career has spanned a variety of industries starting with derivatives structuring at Deutsche Bank, business strategy at Cisco's newly formed Smart Grid Business Unit, founder of an AI & robotics company in the health & fitness space (Eon) and most recently leading Business Development at an AI security company (CalypsoAI). 

Ayoub Lharchi is a registered architect turned developer whose work bridges design, computation, and technology. With a passion for complex geometries and data-driven processes, he explores how digital tools can expand creative and technical possibilities. His professional and academic journey has taken him through the USA, Switzerland, Denmark, and other countries, where he combined practice, research, and teaching. This multidisciplinary experience shaped his vision of integrating architecture, engineering, and computation into more collaborative and innovative workflows. Now based in Berlin, Ayoub co-founded D3Companion, where he focuses on advancing AI-driven solutions for the AEC industry, redefining how professionals design, analyse, and build through intelligent and accessible digital tools.
