Nicolas is a Project Officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, working on EU Sustainable Finance policy as an ESG and sustainability researcher .

His research centres on the topic of company transition plans for climate change mitigation (e.g. as per the CSRD), and his current work is part of a Joint Research Centre project to develop tools that can be used by stakeholders to assess a transition plan’s credibility by analysing geographical dependencies at asset-level (e.g. availability of resources, policy context).
